Tramontozzi: With us this evening is other Board of Alderman Member, Vice Chairman Jacqueline Byrd, Alderman at Large Monica Medeiros, Alderman at Large Mary Beth McAteer-Margolis, Alderman Gail Inferna, Alderman Wright, Alderman Lemmerman, Alderman Mortimer, and President Donald Kahn. And with that, we have a motion to open the floor for public participation by Alderman Mortimer, seconded by- Second. Alderman McAteer-Margolis. On the motion, all in favor? Aye. This is the opportunity for any Member of the public, seeing no Member of the public wishing to come forward. If they did, they would certainly be welcome. And we do always welcome anybody to come forward to speak on any Member, anything on the agendas this evening.

The first order of business is order number 2015-23 which is the reappointment of Rabbi Arnold Fertig, 10 Sunset Road, to the Human Rights Commission for a three-year term, said term to expire on the last day of February 2017. There is a motion to recommend by Alderman Lemmerman and it's seconded by Alderman Bird. discussion seeing none this is just for the public information this is a reappointment so the individuals do not have to be present today but we do have

Tramontozzi: a motion to recommend in a seconded on the motion all in favor any opposed seeing none that reappointment order number 2015 dash 23 is recommended by the Appropriations Committee for passage at the next board meeting second on the agenda is order number 2015-24 it's the reappointment of Shawn McMaster 35 Brazil Street to the Human Rights Commission for three-year term said term to expire on the last day of February 2017 we have a motion to recommend by Alderman Inferno seconded by Alderman Mortimer any discussion Alderman Inferno thank you once again Shawn is a ward 5 member and I know how important um a job his position is on the human rights commission and once again just publicly thank you for this bless you thank you any further discussion seeing none on the on the

Requesting that the city post audio slash video recordings with agendas of meetings of the Board of Aldermen on IQM2 portal. On city's website are in the alternative on YouTube with the link thereto on the city website. Alderman Frank Wright. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. This was my motion. I'm happy to report that with the help of the clerk of committees, we've been able to formulate answers to the questions that the Member had at our last meeting with regards to this.

Wright Jr.: but more importantly I think I think by filing this motion and discussing it with some of the Member I was able to get the ball rolling and with the help of MMTV they've now started posting all our meetings on their website and they've been linked to the city website so as I understand it they will be able to and I guess i posted i'll just go back a second they're posted through vimeo if i remember correctly but in any event those meetings will be on the city website they will be retained there and available so one could actually go back and look at older meetings and that the hits will be able to be determined so what I would like to do is perhaps send this to the full board for the purposes of sending it back to committee and you know if we have enough

Wright Jr.: hits then it might be worthwhile looking into whether or not we want to pursue the IQ m2 which is an easier way to look at it because you can click on the agenda items and go right to that discussion but for the time being since we don't offer that now perhaps if we can measure the hits as i believe alderman inferno suggested last time that we might get a sense of you know how much interest there is in in looking at our meetings online when it's convenient for people as opposed to trying to watch them live or catch up on an item that you may be interested on on the repeat of a broadcast so this would allow someone to scroll through and find an item that they're interested in so that's my suggestion that we send it to the full board for the purposes of

Medeiros: sending it back to committee so we can sit in committee and we can get a sense of usage over the next several months very good is there any further discussion yes well all them in Medeiros thank you I think that sounds promising And as I was reading this over, I was thinking and wondering if we're putting the times in our minutes, in our meeting minutes, so that perhaps somebody at home, if they're watching along with the video, they can kind of do it on their own to see how many minutes in a certain discussion happened in the meeting. so I don't may be easier to kind of do that in our meetings if the clerk or committees or the city clerk could maybe do that as they're going along but it's just just a thought and this may be in there already thanks all right that's

Wright Jr.: everyone seems to be looking at me I would say I'm fine with that that might be something more easily done downstairs with the MMTV staff because they would have the actual readout of the time as each agenda item comes up but I I think it's a great idea I just don't want to speak for MMTV I don't know if the city clerk or the clerk of committees really has a sense of time when they're sitting in this room as to but I think again maybe they can go shut me off if they I don't like the idea downstairs, but perhaps that could be an inquiry that's made directly to MMTV. Right. I'd second the motion to send the order forward without recommendation. Okay, so we do have a motion by Alderman Wright, which is seconded by President Kahn.
