▶ 17:50 John N. Tramontozzi: this is the Monday evening Appropriations Committee meeting of the City of Melrose Board of Aldermen. And as just a reminder, this meeting, as all other meetings earlier today, are being recorded for review by MMTV, for review by the public. With us this evening is other Board of Alderman members, Vice Chairman Jacqueline Byrd, Alderman at Large Monica Medeiros, Alderman at Large Mary Beth McAteer-Margolis, Alderman Gail Inferna, Alderman Wright, Alderman Lemmerman, Alderman Mortimer, and President Donald Kahn. And with that, we have a motion to open the floor for public participation by Alderman Mortimer, seconded by- Second. Alderman McAteer-Margolis. On the motion, all in favor? Aye. This is the opportunity for any members of the public, seeing no members of the public wishing to come forward. If they did, they would certainly be welcome. And we do always welcome anybody to come forward to speak on any members, anything on the agendas this evening. Seeing none, we have a motion to close public participation by Alderman Mortimer, seconded by Alderman McAteer-Margolis. On the motion, all in favor? Aye. Seeing no opposed, public participation is now closed. The first order of business is order number 2015-23 which is the reappointment of Rabbi Arnold Fertig, 10 Sunset Road, to the Human Rights Commission for a three-year term, said term to expire on the last day of February 2017. On that order- Motion to recommend.
