▶ 1:08:54 Jeff McNaught: read for someone who's read one of these for the first time so whereas on November 28th the 2019-2020 Melrose High School football team under the leadership and direction of coach Tim Morris principal Jason Merrill and and Director of Athletics, Steven Fogarty, along with members of the senior class, Chris Allen, Alexander Branchero, Mikhail Dutton, Makai Dutton, Jesse Gardner, Tyrell Lyles, Brendan Marr, Ryan McClintock, Eric Pimentel, Ethan Prosper, and Captains Christopher Cusalito, Sean Herbert, Jared Karelis, and William Pesci won the Thanksgiving Day game, and whereas the team had an undefeated season with a record of 12-0, and whereas the team participated in and ultimately won the division for Super Bowl

▶ 1:10:59 Cory Thomas: a couple words if you'd like thank you very much councilman not I just like to say thank you I've known coach Morris since I was a young boy I wasn't big enough to play football I stand myself towards wrestling I can be on the line but it's a great source of pride and civic pride this football team Friday Night Lights is nothing like it we have a beautiful new athletic field down there Fred Greenfield everybody here and your teammates your underclassmen teammates he has done a great job the past few years and especially bring moment on this championship this year so congratulations I move to recess so that the honorees can take some photos I'll just say I want to on behalf of the seniors in particular coach Morris in Monroe's high school thank the City

▶ 1:12:03 Council for recognizing these guys tonight great leadership not only comes just from a great group of four captains but an entire senior class and we noticed that a couple years ago and in these guys behind me certainly did that as well this past year and if you take any one of these kids and put them in another school they're not only gonna have a huge impact on the football field but on the culture of a school and that's what they've done so what they've done on the field pales in comparison to the impact that they've had on their classmates and staff in the Melrose High School community so thank you again and congratulations to everyone and coach Morris thank you motion to place on file thank you we have a motion to place on file by councillor Tramontozzi second
