▶ 1:08:41 Jeff McNaught: brought all of Melrose High School here tonight I'm just gonna get right into the reading of the resolution because it's rather lengthy and confusing to read for someone who's read one of these for the first time so whereas on November 28th the 2019-2020 Melrose High School football team under the leadership and direction of coach Tim Morris principal Jason Merrill and and Director of Athletics, Steven Fogarty, along with members of the senior class, Chris Allen, Alexander Branchero, Mikhail Dutton, Makai Dutton, Jesse Gardner, Tyrell Lyles, Brendan Marr, Ryan McClintock, Eric Pimentel, Ethan Prosper, and Captains Christopher Cusalito, Sean Herbert, Jared Karelis, and William Pesci won the Thanksgiving Day game, and whereas the team had an undefeated season with a record of 12-0, and whereas the team participated in and ultimately won the division for Super Bowl on December 7th, 2019 at Gillette Stadium to become state champions for the second time in Morozov's history, and therefore, sorry, one more whereas, and whereas to acknowledge this victory we declared December 7th 2019 as morrow's high school football state championship day and therefore be it resolved that we the morrow City Council recognize and applaud these achievements and that this resolution signed by each member of the mayor each member and the mayor be spread upon the permanent records of the city of Melrose and be it further resolved the special copy of special copy be presented to all on this 10th day of February in the year 2020 attested to by the members of the City
