Good evening, be it the hour of 710, I would like to call to order the Public Service Committee of the Melrose Board of Aldermen. Today is Monday, July 27th, 2014. I am Alderman Burns, Chair of the Public Service Committee. And with us this evening are voting members Alderman Chairman Tozzi,

Pursuant to the open meeting law, notice is hereby given that this meeting is being recorded by MMTB. Is there a motion to open the floor for public participation? So moved, Madam Chairman. We have one item on the agenda this evening, and that is order 2015-11, disposal of surplus property, recreation department. and there is an attachment with this in our packet a memo from mayor Dolan for tonight's meeting respectfully request authorization to dispose of the following surplus property in accordance with Melrose revised ordinances chapter 4-13 is set forth herein authorization to declare the bounce house surplus and

Bird: also authorize the recreation director with the mayor's approval to negotiate its sale I did not ask the recreation department head to be here this evening as I thought this was fairly straightforward but is there a motion or any discussion motion to recommend motion to recommend by Alderman Inferno is there a second no I'm not a second buddy oh is there a second from the committee before we move to the non-voting members second second by Alderman Mortimer on discussion any voting members want to speak first okay so up Alderman Medeiros oh I'm sure it's probably your question do you know why they're looking to I do not know why I know that they're going to follow the process through the DPW auction that had the day's not been curious as to why
