▶ 21:59 Maya Jamaleddine: Grant was we have that MH. Oh a
▶ 22:03 Speaker 5: oh, okay. So the image away, I believe that's the the chii mini Grant. So this is a grant that we received. It is for 12,000 dollars. It is between the timeline of January and June. It is specifically to help address. It's kind of a tool for us to improve health inclusion in our communities. The focus is going to be on those with physical disability. And so anybody with mobility issues are priority is to help kind of augment the work by the commission on disability with this grant. It's to help access to specific areas and where we're working very closely with David Hoff to make sure that we don't overlap in those efforts. Some of the examples that we have put forth are schools work sites Healthcare Healthcare organizations and Community organizations, like YMCA and other ones that just farmers markets and Community Gardens. This grant is meant to help do an initial assessment. It's a successful effort between four communities Melrose Wakefield Stoneham in Linfield. We're going to be working with each Community to kind of identify needs. This is kind of a phase one Grant and once we complete this assessment and put some of this money towards addressing some of the the issues that we've identified through the Ada assessment. The next Grant will be applying for will be a larger sum. It'll be more of an more of an application based grant

▶ 23:47 Robb Stewart: Counselors Stewart. Thank you madam chair. Thank you, Mr. Church for being here tonight. Just understand so because twelve thousand dollars don't go very far. Right? So this is really more to assess locations where we could do something for People with disabilities and then go and apply for that Grant later on to try to actually address those with the planning in Mind Correct. Do you think that 12 Grand is going to be enough to do the assessment as is or do you think you need to come back for more
▶ 24:20 Speaker 5: No, the $12,000 should be enough for our initial assessment. We've we've kind of already written up a draft budget for each Community it total so roughly 3,000 maybe a little bit less for each community. So we have a little bit left over we've we've already looked into folks to have experience. So we're looking for interns to possibly help with our effort as well. I've already done this kind of work before.

▶ 24:46 Manjula Karamcheti: Thank you for being here and for going after the grandson things that you do I just to clarify is this an extension of the work that the disabilities commission study has already done. So just so it's not repetitive and
▶ 25:05 Speaker 5: what ways is it different? So this one the commission on disability focuses more on ADA compliance and this grant specifically is not part of the checklist. It's more of a broad level of kind of Health inclusion. So we're only working closely with Melrose Wakefield to kind of see how we can help them Reach a certain level of accessibility. That's not specifically not on the ADA compliance checklist, which anything else that we can help with? Okay. That's very helpful.

▶ 25:52 Speaker 5: we wrote for this grant the the grant. Premises was specifically for physical physical Mobility.
▶ 25:59 Maya Jamaleddine: Okay, and I you know, I just want to name that I appreciate you that color collaboration between the city and the commission on disability.
▶ 26:15 Maya Jamaleddine: With this assessment be done by someone that you hire or is it just limited to interns?
▶ 26:21 Speaker 5: So Kara showers is going to be the purse the point person for this grant. She'll have one intern work with her on this project and then any results we find would be happy to share with the council after the grant ends around I think ends in June 1st.
