And under Rule 48 of the Rules of Order, the Melrose City Council, um, the President Pro Tempore is the senior member of the body and shall preside over the caucus to nominate a president for the ensuing year in accordance with Rule 48. The caucus shall be held on the first Monday in December, and in accordance with the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law, this caucus is being broadcast live and is being recorded, um, and will be made available on MMTV and in the City of Melrose website.
