▶ 2:47 Speaker 1: an updated version out to people this morning and I'll quickly go over things

▶ 2:58 Speaker 1: that I changed if that's acceptable mr. chairman please okay on section 1 sub B I changed that so that it now reads license slash permit authority Melrose

▶ 3:19 Speaker 1: Board of Aldermen on the second page I filled in appropriate fees after receiving the input of the city clerk page 4 section 8 I deleted a sentence

▶ 3:36 Speaker 1: fragment which was causing confusion and i apologize i deleted by which the suspended or revoked person is employed on page five actually this didn't make it onto page five

▶ 4:10 Speaker 1: on this version it's on page four after the word city clerk on what was what's the last sentence of the current page four i deleted and at the same time surrender his or her permit so i think that makes it clear that nobody's surrendering any permit before a hearing conducted by this board

▶ 4:35 Speaker 1: on subparagraph f i made sure that it was clear the sentence says suspension or revocation is authorized if the board of aldermen determines by a preponderance of the evidence

▶ 4:55 Speaker 1: and i think that's the bulk of the changes so i think that we We encompass the recommendations of the city clerk, and we eliminate any confusion relative to any potential for a license suspension prior to adhering by this board of aldermen. Those were the changes that I have made, and I would hope that the committee would see fit to pass this on to the full board.

▶ 5:33 Peter D. Mortimer: I'd add, I've made a motion to recommend this order for passage so far. And I would incorporate for the record the amendments made by President Kahn as a friendly amendment to that motion. Do we need an amendment, Mr. Chairman?
