Upon the unanimous vote of the members present, Alderman Donald Alcorn Jr. has been duly nominated by the members of this caucus to be the newly elected president of the Board of Aldermen for the year 2015. In accordance with the rules of order of the Board of Aldermen, the term will become effective upon a formal election of the Board of Aldermen at the organizational meeting in January, at which time there will be a formal election and installation. And will Alderman Tramontozzi kindly escort the newly nominated president to the roster?
