Motion to Postpone until May 11 made by Councilor Romanul Seconded by Councilor Williams Motion passed, with Councilor Chen voting Nay RESULT: PASSED AYES: Cal Finocchiaro, Bradley Freeman, Maya Jamaleddine, Manjula Karamcheti, Elizabeth Kowal, John Obremski, Christopher Park, Devin Romanul, Kim Vandiver, Ryan Williams NAYS: Jason Chen Comments and Discussion: Councilor Romanul explained that this came from A&O with recommendation for passage and final vote will be postponed until May 11 to allow for further discussion and public feedback. It was proposed that it might make sense to take a final vote on this item since it's for reimbursement. The mayor and department heads do not need these matters to be paid out in the next week. It was decided to postpone.

▶ 1:19:29 Devin Romanul: Mr. President, this motion comes to us from the Appropriations and Oversight Committee with a recommendation for passage, and at this time I'll move to postpone this motion until our next regular meeting on Monday, May 11th. Second.

▶ 1:19:55 Bradley Freeman: So there's a motion on the floor. Sorry. So the motion would need to be withdrawn. Just a point of clarification. Mm-hmm. We did have conversations today with the mayor's office and the respective department heads to ensure that none of these matters needed to be paid out within the next week. So, in the spirit of the transparency we're trying to do, they were okay with these being postponed for one week. Chair, uh, Councilor Williams.
