▶ 30:22 Peter D. Mortimer: as our president, a resolution honoring Donald Del Con as the president of the Melrose Board of Aldermen for the year 2015. Whereas Alderman Donald Del Con has served as president of the Board of Aldermen for the city of Melrose for the year 2015, his seventh term in that esteemed role, and whereas the board congratulates President for completing his eighth term as an alderman at large for the city of Melrose, and appreciates his commitment to serving Melrose, a commitment that continues his family's legacy of public service. And whereas the Board recognizes that President Kahn's dedication to our community extends far beyond his efforts in this chamber, in particular his 20 years of service to our city as an alderman as an alderman and as a city solicitor. And whereas President Kahn leads by doing,

▶ 31:36 Peter D. Mortimer: by avid running, or by being a loving and caring husband to April, or as a loving father who continuously supports his twins, Donald and Emily, graduates of Melrose High School, where Emily was the valedictorian her graduating year.

▶ 31:57 Peter D. Mortimer: And whereas the board shows its appreciation for President Kahn's tremendous legal knowledge and insightful perspectives, especially when sharing invectives about the wisdom of the laws foisted upon us by our much wiser state legislature.

▶ 32:13 Peter D. Mortimer: Therefore, be it resolved that we, the members of the Board of Aldermen, thank President Kahn for his commendable and invaluable helmsmanship. And therefore, be it further resolved that on this day, Monday, December 21, 2015, that this resolution, signed by each of its members, be spread across the records of the Melrose board of aldermen and that a special copy thereof be prepared and presented to president alderman
