▶ 10:49 Speaker 1: home. Congratulations is due because Juliana graduated last month from Northeastern University School of Law. Congratulations. She also is a graduate of Simmons College. She has worked in the office of Governor Patrick. She has worked in Veterans Affairs for Senator John Kerry. She has an incredible array of experience. She has been a law clerk. She has worked for the United States Attorney's Office, Civil Division, and she wishes to take all of this experience, including a stint at Fenway Park, which was exciting, this ray of experience and to contribute to a very active Human Rights Commission. I really want to thank her. She must be incredibly busy, and instead of relaxing and going out and doing what she has to, she decided to serve her community. So I want to thank Juliana for her volunteerism and ask that you consider her nomination for this appointment.

I was looking for a way to get more involved in this community. I've really come to love Melrose since I moved here three years ago and saw the vacancy on the Human Rights Commission and it just seemed like the perfect way to get involved. It's so aligned with everything that, you know, all my experience thus far and I'm eager to work with the wonderful commissioners I've met thus far and participate to just keep making Melrose even better.
