▶ 11:20 Paul Brodeur: I would. Thank you very much again, Madam Chair. As you know, Melrose prides itself on its ability to serve its senior population and, in particular, to make sure that they have opportunities to stay independent within the community. That has been a particular challenge for communities across the Commonwealth for obvious reasons over the last 8 or 10 or 12 months. And what we rely on, as a lot of COAs do throughout Massachusetts. We rely on our volunteer base and folks with knowledge and the desire to help to step forward. And I can tell you, Ms. Fernandez came recommended by Joan Cassidy, who was a longtime supporter of just about all things Melrosean, but in particular, the Friends of the Council on Aging. Ms. Fernandez got involved, has been to one or two of the COA meetings, and is ready to step up. Her financial background, I think, will be of particular help and interest to the members of the Council as we move forward to try to both maintain those base level of services and make sure we continue to meet the really diverse needs of our senior population. So I offer for your consideration and hope you consider that nomination favorably.
