Tramontozzi: you um we are in suspension of rules and the first order of business this evening is order 2021-65 is the appointment appointment of jason jancatis uh to the conservation commission for a term ending on the last for 2023 and we invite um jason uh the mayor is here to introduce uh mr jenkins

▶ 1:05:53 Paul Brodeur: Hang on a sec. There you go. There we go. So this is the opportunity to address the council and I want to apologize for my somewhat casual attire as you might be able to tell. I, um. Drop my son off at UMass Amherst for. His 1st semester on campus, he is, he was. at umass melrose in the fall semester and we are delighted to uh he uh ran away from the car so i'm not sure that's a commentary on her parenting skills or anything like that but uh all all is well in amherst um and i want to thank um mr jen cadis for stepping forward to volunteer for the conservation commission uh i commend to you his his resume you if you take a quick look at you You will see he is literally built for this job by education, by temperament, by experience. This is the work he does for a living and we would be extremely well served to welcome him aboard the Conservation Commission. So I give him my enthusiastic support and nomination and look forward to hearing his comments and to your quick consideration.

▶ 1:07:26 Speaker 5: Thanks very much for that introduction. Just a little bit more about myself. I've lived in Nora since 2003 have a son and daughter at the high school in the middle school. So, when this opportunity presented itself, as Mayor Berger mentioned, as part of my work as an environmental engineer, I've appeared before conservation commissions in several other cities and towns in Massachusetts as part of my work. So I'm familiar with the scope of work that they do and I thought that would be a good fit with the opening. So I decided to volunteer.

Mr. and we do appreciate your stepping forward and volunteering for the conservation commission. Are there any questions from any of the committee members?

You the motion your appointment has been recommended by the committee. I do anticipate a positive response. At the full board, you do not have to be in attendance unless any of the members of the accounts will have any further questions. Then we will ask you to come in. But otherwise you do not have to come to the full board meeting for the final approval. We do have your resume and very impressive and we appreciate that.
