▶ 0:04 Robb Stewart: Good evening. This is the meeting of the Protection License Protection License Committee, uh, in lieu of, uh, chair Gar Pay. I am, uh, Councillor Stewart, who will be, uh, honoring the chair this evening. Uh, with me this evening is counselors Feno Chiro Hamilton Reky, and, uh, president Elli Exofficio. This Pro provide provides a notice of the quorum for the record in accordance with the Open Meeting law. This meeting is being recorded and broadcast on our local cable access channel, MMTV, as well as live streamed on the MMTV website and available for future viewing through the City of Melrose's meetings portal. And without, uh, objection, I'll open the floor for public comment. This is the portion of the meeting

Uh, if you're here for public comment, uh, please raise your digital hands. I see a few people on there, none of which have raised their hands. Okay. Thank you. Since no one's come forward, uh, without objection, I'll close public comment. Public comment is now closed. We have one item on the agenda this evening. Uh, it is a license license 2024 dash 11. It's a common VI layer for Jos Foods Incorporated, doing business as mother's pizza. Um, and without objection, I'll motion to suspend Rule 37 B. Second 37 B is suspended, so if anyone is with us, they can come forward.

Uh, well, I just want to, uh, thank God first, um, thank you guys for being here. And, um, we wanna, I'm here on behalf of Jos Foods. Mm-Hmm. And, uh, we wanna, um, purchase the business from, uh, Kaus family, um, keep the traditional alive. Um, they've been there for 44 years and, um, out of those 44 years I've been there 28. So I know the customers. I know a lot of Melrose friends, uh, residents, uh, some of the faces here. Uh, so, um, would be, you know, a great opportunity for us to continue their legacy. You know, we really thank, uh, the Kamus family.
▶ 3:10 Uh, we've been working together for a long time. Okay. Any, any comments or questions from the committee? I'll just say that I'm excited to see you take over the business. I've known the family my entire life, and it's a staple in the Franklin area. Um, so I'm, I'm happy to see that, you know, someone's so invested is taking over the business. Thank You.
