Uh, reports from committees Appropriation 2023 dash 26 appropriation from free cash in the amount of $481,600 Capital stabilization fund. Councillor Melli, Madam President. This comes up from the Appropriations and Oversight Committee with a recommendation to pass as amended. And at this time, I motion for passage.

Thank you, Madam President. Uh, I didn't support this in committee. I still am not supporting this. Um, not that we don't, um, have a need for capital equipment, but I, I think by allowing this money to go to free cash for next year, it gives, uh, the next administration some flexibility, especially with a new, a new, um, appropriation in front of us, uh, for another additional $158,000 from the schools a week later after they were in front of us. So, um, I just wanna explain my, uh, my reason for why I will not be voting in favor of this.
