I am Councilor Sean McMaster, the chair of the committee. Joining me this evening are voting members of the committee, Vice Chair Peter Mortimer, Councilor Robert Boisselle, Councilor Kate Lipper-Garabedian, and Councilor John Tramontozzi. Also joining us are non-voting members, Councilor Manisha Bewtra, Councilor Scott Forbes, Councilor Monica Medeiros, and Councilor Michael Zwirko. In accordance with the open meeting law, this meeting is being recorded and broadcast live on MMTV, as well as live streamed on the MMTV website.

There's a motion to open the floor for public comment made by Councilor Lipper-Garabedian, seconded by Councilor Tramontozzi. All in favor? Aye. Any opposed? This is the portion of our meeting where any members of the public who wish to comment on the one agenda item that we have may step forward. Motion to close public comment. Second. Seeing that there are no members of the public stepping forward to speak for public comment, Vice-Counselor Lippa Garabedian has made a motion to close the floor, seconded by Vice-Chair Mortimer. ▶ 2:53 statement or would you like to proceed directly to questions I am here I'm taking over from my uncle and my aunt my my diner Melrose and I'm very very happy to be in Melrose I really like the city and I would like to see everyone around my diner I'll be very happy thank you for being here and thank you for your willingness to take over the business are there any questions from members of committee council lippi garabedian thank you for being here congratulations do you just want to let everyone know who's watching at home or who might watch later if you're going to have the same hours and when you'll be open and what kind of meals you'll be serving we are not making any changes it will be the the great diner it was it will follow the same menu the same items that

I think we have President Mortimer in queue. Thank you, Chairman McMaster. I'm very happy to see the succession. I see that your aunt and uncle are here. I'm glad to see that they'll be looking over your shoulder to make sure that quality remains at the same high level that it is. My waistline gives away the fact that I'm a frequent patron at my diner.

Thank you. i'm really thankful to you and please carry on the great tradition you didn't bring any samples tonight did you english muffins or anything thank you chairman mcmaster thank you president one more uh just for the record we are in possession of the applicant's application for license a copy of the workers compensation insurance affidavit investigation reports from the melrose health department the melrose building department the melrose fire department as well as the certificate of occupancy so it appears as if all the paperwork is in order what is the will of the committee motion to recommend second there's a motion to recommend by council the chairman tozy
