Welcome and thank you for being here tonight. just if you want to just make a quick statement about the order that's before us thank you so the order before you is transferring funds from the library finds account into the library books and periodicals account we do this once a year at about this time of year in Melrose library finds are used
▶ 2:13 Kate Lipper-Garabedian: exclusively for library books and periodicals so it's a transfer from one account into the other we are also required as part of the state certification process to expend a certain amount of our budget on library materials that circulate directly to the public and so this helps support that effort great questions almond lip garabedia yes thank you so much for being here i'm just wondering if this amount of money is sort of a typical or average amount or if it's high or low it is we've been doing 15 000 for actually the last several years um so this is a little bit higher than typical and is that just by virtue of um just it just so happened that there were more like people who didn't turn books in on time or that
