In accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws, this meeting is being recorded and will be available for future viewing through the city website or MMTV. We have with us this evening from the committee, Vice Chairman Monica Medeiros, Committeewoman Alderman Inferna, Committeeman Bob Boisselle, and Committeewoman Jennifer Lemmerman. Also joining us this evening, Ward 7 Alderman Scott Forbes, Ward 1 Alderman John Tramontozzi, Alderman at Large Mike Zwirko, and President Don Kahn. ▶ 2:34 CMC is Classic Muscle Cars. We've been in business for quite some time in Melrose, in Malden. What we do is we find cars that need restoration from periods ranging from 1955 to 1975. We restore them, bring them back to life for the purpose of resale. We also offer restoration services for vehicles within that range. The business is not open to the public for normal routine maintenance on any type of a car, so that aspect isn't there. we primarily work just on old cars classic cars right now there is typically seven to eight cars that come through our hands at a time the average restoration takes anywhere between nine to fourteen weeks so there isn't traffic that deck builds up and creates issues on your streets it's we're not

Pasquale Alderman Brazil when you say the old classic cars are you also concerned about hotrods the old hotrods that are shown in California and other areas hotrods is a different is a different type of car typically they go back to the 20s and the 30s or even some of the 40s we work on them but I do not buy them to restore and resell them it's it's another specialty group and typically our cars run through mass state inspections and they're all certified before they leave a hot rod is a different type of car and it's usually just a Sunday Cruiser our cars are driver quality cars the people who buy our cars will actually drive them you
▶ 4:32 know Monday through Friday heading out to work in the summertime so I don't I don't really get into that work but we do we we have done them before it's going to be any metal body type operation my body work and my body shop is at another location this location does mechanical electrical interior okay and then there's the showroom that we in the frantic has in the front of the building correct okay very good thank you very much thank you madam chairman anyone else uh president khan yeah this is a good use for this property this this has been devoted to sale and restoration and repair motor vehicles since melrose pontiac was there remember so i think this is a good use and good luck on your new business and welcome to melrose we're
