No, I'll make a statement. So my name is Samantha Hawkins. I've been a resident of Melrose now for almost two years. I'm a teaching fellow at Harvard University in the Anthropology and African American Studies Department. and I've loved living in Melrose and as a work as my work deals with inclusiveness and equality that's something I hope to bring and really strengthen within this city so that we can share the joys of it with everyone who would like to be a resident excellent motion to recommend second Alderman Boisselle has made a motion to recommend this order for passage duly seconded

▶ 16:13 My name is Leda Williams, I am currently the chair of the Melrose Commission on Women. We had an event in November, and we're having three additional events coming up. So we wanted to establish a fund so that we could defray expenses and take it upon ourselves to see if we can do some fundraising. Very good. Thank you for that information. Are there any members of the Committee on Appropriations with questions or comments? Alderman Zwirko, please. I just had one question. So what do you do now if donations come in? Do they go to this general fund and distribute? How does it work? There have been no donations as far, but we have sold some T-shirts, and so at this point our treasurer has kept the money and in order to and we asked for the funds so
