▶ 0:00 John N. Tramontozzi: The Chamber can come to order, please. Good evening. This is the City of Melrose Finance Committee of the Board of Aldermen, October 24, 2016. My name is John Tramontozzi. I'm the Vice Chair of this committee. with us this evening our committee members alderman francis wright alderman peter mortimer alderman michael Zwirko president khan also with us although non-voting members thank you is uh alderman Boisselle alderman inferno alderman Lemmerman alderman mcintyre mygolis and alderman medeiros this this meeting is being recorded pursuant to the massachusetts open meeting law and is available for uh review at a later date by any members of the public motion to open the floor for public participation mr chairman thank you uh we have an uh motion to

Tramontozzi: open the floor for public participation by alderman mortimer seconded by alderman's work on the motion all in favor aye any opposing none uh we this is the uh time of our meeting where any members of the public who wish to come forward to speak on any matter on our agenda this evening please do so motion to close public participation thank you we don't see any members of the public wishing to come forward at this time uh so there's a motion to close public participation by alderman mortimer seconded by alderman's work on the motion all in favor aye any opposed seeing none public participation is closed we do have one order on the agenda this evening is order number two zero one seven dash three five that's an order for an acceptance of the regional eoaf grant in

Tramontozzi: the amount of forty thousand dollars to be deposited in fund number four zero two five this is an order offered by the honorable mayor robert j dolan motion to recommend for passage mr chairman we have a motion on the floor by alderman mortimer for a recommended for a recommendation for passage seconded by alderman Zwirko is there any discussion uh president khan yeah as we consider this order there is no expenditure of city funds at all required so this is a pure grant right as as president khan has indicated to members of the public uh this is a grant uh being given to the city so that's nice and there's no financial impact to the city in terms of city funds any further discussion thank you mr. chairman

Zwirko: this is just really brief the second acceptance of this money will go to enhance the visual budget which is now displayed on the city of Melrose's website we did a presentation that was given to us in March of this year about that program and I just wanted to mention to folks that are at home that they can visit the visual budget online at the city's website so the that program will be enhanced through these funds and just letting folks know about it so that's all I had very good thank you for that insight any further discussion seeing none we ready for the vote all in favor there is a motion to recommend all in favor aye aye any opposed seeing none so this order will be recommended to the full board at our next full board motion to adjourn
