With us this evening from the committee is Alderman Inferna, Ward 5, and Alderman Boisselle, Ward 4. Alderman Lemmon sends her regrets and is absent tonight, and I have not heard anything from Alderman Medeiros, so we do have a quorum, and we can proceed with just the three of us. In accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws, this meeting is being recorded and available for future viewing via the city website or MMTV. Okay, motion to open for public participation. Second. Alderman Inferno moves to open the floor for public participation, seconded by Alderman Boisselle. All in favor?

It's order 2016-140, an application of Omar Usef and Fahid Omar doing business as Metrol's Taxi LLC for a Hackney carriage license for one taxi cab. We do have the applicants with us this evening. Good evening, according to the documents that we have in front of us, this is a new application because, why don't you explain it to us? It's actually, I'm one of the owner, Metrolis Taxi in Maros. So I'm just adding a new partner, my cousin, we joined together. So the business, the name and everything stays the same and it existed before. So what we actually do is we provide pride, and we get called Maldon and all these cities and we have even website. So this is my cousin, his name is Fahid. So he's going to be my new partner. we have only one taxi so we switch the shifty he's gonna drive his shifty and

▶ 3:39 Mary Beth McAteer-Margolis: madam chairman if we could just reflect for the public that all the paperwork oh yes all the paperwork is in order uh appropriately signed by the necessary department heads and chiefs so that order will be recommended to the full board we meet next tuesday night should you uh decide to tune in and see um but the we recommend it to the full board and approved at that time and uh you can pick up your license at a future date at the city clerk's office.
