▶ 7:45 my name is donald khan this is the regular meeting of the melrose board of aldermen for november 16 2015. ms o'shea could you call the role please here here here here here okay if you could all please rise and join me in saluting the flag I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Mr. President, I have before me the minutes of our meetings from August 17th and October 19th of 2015, and I make a motion that they be included in the record and accepted without reading. Second the motion. Alderman Mortimer moves that our minutes from August 17th and October 19th be accepted without reading.

Is there discussion on the motion? all those in favor of the motion please indicate by saying aye aye anyone opposed motion passes mr president i make a motion that we open the floor for public participation second alderman mortimer moves that we commence public participation the motion is seconded by alderman voicel this is the portion of our meeting where any member of the public may come forward and speak on any order that is on our agenda for this evening motion to close public participation second alderman Inferno moves to close public participation. The motion is seconded by Alderman Boisselle. On the motion, all those in favor? Aye. Anyone opposed?

Yes, Mr. President, thank you. I rise to request that we take Order No. 2016-46 from Committee. I second the motion to take the order from Committee.

On the motion, all those in favor? Aye. Anyone opposed? Motion passes. The order is before you. It was recommended earlier this evening in Protection and License Committee. Alderman McAteer-Margolis. uh yes mr president um i request passage of this order it's an application of lisbetta achulo for a common victual license for sunny's fire and wood pizza at 3537 essex street in melrose and as you have indicated it comes recommended from the committee second a motion for passage i'll be mech tiamar bill this moves the passage of the order the motion is seconded by alderman mortimer
▶ 11:22 is there any discussion all those in favor of passage of the order indicate by saying aye aye anyone opposed that order passes motion to adjourn mr president second actually before i call for the vote on the motion to adjourn if i could have one moment of personal privilege we have been informed uh two or three years ago by the attorney general's office that anybody interested in being the president of the board of aldermen uh needs to declare at a public meeting that that is their intention i am so declaring for the year 2016 in accordance with that opinion alderman mortimer you're moving to adjourn i have moved to adjourn yes sir and is that motion second second the motion seconded by alderman forbes on the motion all those in favor
