With us this evening from the committee is Alderman Lemmerman, Alderman Boisselle, Alderman Medeiros, President Conn, and non-voting member Alderman Mortimer. Thank you. In compliance with the open meeting laws, this meeting is being recorded and available for playback on the city website or MMTV. Motion to open the floor for public participation. Second. Alderman Medeiros has made a motion, seconded by Alderman Lemmerman, to open the floor for public participation. All in favor? Aye. Opposed? ▶ 1:51 Malden since 1992 doing business as taxi time but somebody had already taking that and reversed it to time taxis so we changed our name to transportation time so the customer doesn't have any confusion do we have any questions from the committee so thank you that actually may answer my question because I thought we had been maxed out on the number of licenses that we had but you had a name change but you previously had a license here in Melrose since 1993 so I believe from what I understand from the city clerk there was one license remaining after we if we were to grant these two this evening there will still be one license available thank you motion to recommend second alderman moves seconded by alderman Lehman lemmerman any

Do we have a motion to suspend the rules? So moved. Seconded. Alderman Medeiros moved. Seconded by Alderman Lehman. All in favor? Aye. Opposed? Mr. Meshesha, would you like to come forward? Thank you. And would you tell us a little bit about yourself and your request for a livery license? Okay, so my name is Barakat Meshesha. I'm living in the address in 189 West Wyoming with my wife, Lenny Tardessa. And I used to work in Tufts Medical Center as a clinical care technician before. And then when I start to go to school, the schedule of the school and the hospital is not go together.
▶ 5:14 Mary Beth McAteer-Margolis: Because of that, I heard about the Uber and delivery businesses from different people. And I start to work this delivery business as a side and to go to school since that business gives me time freedom. I can make my schedule and that's what I decided to do this business. Okay, thank you. Does anyone on the committee have any questions? It seems as though your application is all in order for one vehicle and it will be housed at 189 West Wyoming.
