With us this evening from the committee is Ward 2 Alderman Jennifer Lemmerman, Ward 4 Alderman Robert Boisselle, Alderman-at-Large Monica Medeiros. Also, from non-voting members, we have President Kahn, Alderman Ward 1 Tramatozzi, Alderman Ward 6 Peter Mortimer, and 7 Scott Forbes. Thank you for joining us. In accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws, this committee meeting is being broadcast by MMTV for viewing future either on their station or on the city website. So moved. second favor aye okay so moving on to the orders of the day we have order number 2015-114 which is an appointment of Paul D Bruce from 37 Russet Lane in Melrose to the position of constable for a three-year term said term to expire on the first Monday in April of 2018. Mr Bruce would to come forward to the desk we need a motion to suspend the rules so moved second all in favor aye mr bruce do we have an application from you um on file everything seems to be in order would you like to make any comments to the committee i just want the board to realize that i truly accept this as an honor and i want to thank the mayor's office along with chief lyle for supporting me through
▶ 2:09 Mary Beth McAteer-Margolis: this have been a constable from the town of wilmington since 1997 i believe give or take a year and i'm looking forward to uh serving the city of milrose is there anyone from the committee that has any questions for mr bruce motion to recommend second we have armand brazel has made a motion to recommend seconded by alderman lemmerman any further discussion or questions all the men Medeiros just to point out that we have in file your application and your references and see that you've been Corey checked and I've been previously constable for everything appears to be in order thank you and I believe there's also been a bond issued as well so yes it's been an existence oil too as all the material says you meet all the qualifications so all in favor aye aye opposed

Medeiros: constable's office on main street on the melrose malden line and so this is this is a great opportunity for me i currently serve in six other communities as a constable and have done this full time for about eight years any questions from committee members motion to recommend second any further discussion from any other committee members non-voting members malden and maderas just to point out again to we see your resume and everything appearing to be in order there's some notes on the cover page of this order saying that the fees paid and Corey submitted because I'm not sure if it had been checked off in what's in our paperwork but it is on the cover page of the order that's correct right correct okay good thank you and we wish you much luck thank you thank you
