First order on the agenda is order number 2015-88, transfer of $1,825 from account number 012 412-529-020, Professional Services, to account number 012411-513000, over time. I can see Mr. Johnson is here in the audience, if you'd like to come up to the table.

The rules are now suspended. you for coming in this evening if you could just give us a brief statement on the order that is before us for consideration yes thank you for having me this order is to fund overtime in the emergency situations where my inspectors get called out beyond normal business hours and this will carry us hopefully right through the end of the physical year oh should I recommend for passage A motion for recommend by Alderman Mortimer. ▶ 7:03 Alderman Wright. Paul, thank you for joining us. I just said no to Con and me, I guess. Turn this around and face me. Can you explain, give us some examples of the type of inspections that might be done after hours so the public understands? uh typically uh after a storm we'll have instances where uh power lines are down or they may pull an electrical service off a house where you know they'll call the electrician in and the power company will not turn that electrical service back on until our electrical inspector has been out there made sure everything's safe and up and running and then you know the power company will turn that service back on so you know that could run anywhere from four o'clock in the afternoon
▶ 7:57 till you know all night or in some instances uh where we have a heating failure or carbon oxide failure or a situation where our plumbing inspector may be called out in the middle of the night to uh oversee what's happening there and try to make a determination of might what happened to the equipment at once so it's more disaster act of god emergency type situations it's not just telling somebody you need them to work an extra two hours or we don't have overtime that's what i thought okay all right thank you thank you mr chairman weekends all weekend weekends nights yeah beyond normal working hours all member daris thank you uh you said that you think this will take you through the end of the year so this these uh funds have not already been spent
▶ 8:47 uh roughly about 825 have already been occur and taken care of and so uh hopefully the thousand will get us to the end of uh this fiscal year yeah okay great thanks and since you just mentioned that example of the storm and power lines down did we happen to have any of that over the last couple days in the blizzard actually we had no power lines down I think with the light fluffy snow yes yeah it was a blessing however I would remind people at home to make sure that the vents on the outside of your house where your heating equipment comes out make sure they're clear and makes you know if you have a flat roof keep an eye on that it would snow loads and clean those off thank you thank you mr. chairman anybody else in discussion we

Forbes: ninety two renewal the surety bond for the city clerk city of Melrose in the amount of $15,000 for the year 2015 just on a side note there was a lot of documentation for this order I did ask the city clerk not be present for this since the required item is a renewal is a requirement terms and conditions of this order does not change from year to year just wanted to put that out there especially for the people viewing at home so what is the will of the committee a motion to recommend by Alderman Byrd second and by Alderman Mortimer all those in favor motion passes will be recommended to the full board on February 2nd motion to adjourn and a motion to adjourn by Alderman Mortimer second by Alderman Tramontozzi all those in favor this meeting is now
