CITY OF MELROSE CONSERVATION COMMISSION City Hall, 562 Main Street Melrose, Massachusetts 02176 Telephone - (781) 979-4312 Melrose Conservation Fax - (781) 979-4290 Commission Minutes for September 19, 2013 Melrose Conservation Commission Minutes for September 18, 2014 Present: Susan Murphy, KatePresent: Hickey, Susan Murphy, Aaron Weieneth, Kevin Anderson, Kate Hickey and Richard Kevin Anderson,Doucette Erin Heacock and Aaron Weieneth Ms. Murphy called the meeting to order at 7:45 PM Absent: Richard Doucette The City Engineer, Andrew Street, is planning to do a resurface and reconstruction of the tennis courts on Tremont St. & Lynnfells Parkway and Crystal St. The projects will be Ms. Murphywithin called the 100 year floodplain. There was a question as to whether the projects would the meetingalso to order be within the 100’ buffer to Ell Pond. It was decided that Mr. Street is to look into at 7:30 PM whether the projects would be within the 100’ buffer to wetlands. If not, the project could come in under a Request for Determination. Continued Public Hearing Proposed Condominium 124-138 Tremont St. a.k.a 130 Tremont St. DEP#217-0192 Mr. Anderson moved to issue an Order of Conditions with the standard special conditions as amended. Mr. Weieneth seconded the motion; and it was voted unanimously in favor. Minutes Mr. Anderson moved to approve the minutes of September 4, 2014. Ms. Hickey seconded the motion; and it was voted unanimously in favor. Outdoor Classroom Ms. Hickey advised members that the classroom is already being used. Ms. Morgan also advised members that the sign is ready. Trail Cleanup Members decided to do another trail cleanup Sunday, September 28th at 1:00 pm.
