▶ 1:32:34 Speaker 1: the floor is yours uh this this grant will uh is the money that i applied for to finish off the room that we started upstairs in the in the training area to complete the training area this is for the rest of the furniture we already have purchased computers tables and furniture before and also radio equipment for the first time we will be having a backup communication center for both police and fire that during an emergency hopefully we don't have any but but this room will once again be restored to an emergency operating center which was something that was written into the advertisement for the position to create it and it was an emergency operating center up until about eight years ago when the former director Ed Kelly retired subsequently passed away and once there wasn't a dedicated director the room just pretty much late late vacant as far as an emergency operating center when so we did get additional radios and not only will it be used as a backup for fire of police and used during an emergency but it will also be a training center for fire and police currently when new police officers are hired or firefighters are hired those that we going into dispatch have to go into an active dispatch center to receive training this way they will have a dedicated training room that will not interfere with the with the day-to-day operations in either department but but it will closely reflect the the operations of it and you know in today's environment if something were to happen either in the fire station or the police station if there was a smoke condition or for some reason they had to evacuate the building they will now have a place to go to where they will still be able to operate and dispatch their companies respectively Thank You director Alpert
