▶ 21:09 Manjula Karamcheti: Nice. Good evening, everyone. It's Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 at 7:00 PM This is the meeting of the Legal and Legislative Committee. I'm Counselor Carm Chaney, the vice chair filling in for Counselor Aldine, who is the chair. Uh, tonight. Joining us on our committee are Counselor Rio Councilor Kowal, councilor Van Devin, and Counselor Freeman, president Exofficio, and also joining us as non-voting members, or Counselor Williams, counselor Chen, counselor Park, and Councilor Romanul. This also provides our attendance and provides a notice of a quorum for the record in accordance with the open meeting law. This meeting is being recorded and broadcast on local cable access channel TV as well as livestream through the t v.org. This meeting will be available for future viewing through the City of Melrose website meeting portal as well. Um, first we'd like to approve the minutes of our legal and legislative meeting. That was on November 24th, 2005 at seven 30. All motion by unanimous consent to approve the minutes. Seeing no objections, the minutes are approved.
