There is regrettably covid in the household very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you tonight and really regret that Roe as she goes by our new nominee for Veterans Services District director and Melrose vsl cannot be here with us tonight. I know you've had an opportunity to review her resume and her considerable qualification, so I won't be labor them that I do want to know a couple things that she really has an outstanding combination of administrative skills and advocacy on behalf of the veteran Community. As you can see she has over 21 years of active duty service and Reserve Service as a military police officer and as a special agent in Army criminal investigations, she comes here to Melrose. nine years of experience as a vso in the town of Winthrop, which he did all the traditional activities the associate with vsos, but also did Yeomans work as a member of that community and making sure that all

▶ 2:48 Paul Brodeur: the community as a whole that she would like to say her primary function is to make sure veterans receive all that. They are entitled to something that Melrose has subscribed to for quite some time with her passion and experience and quite frankly her vibrant nature. She's going to be a terrific Edition, you know, we've always had we've had varying people serve in this role, but we have almost inevitably gotten someone with outstanding credentials and experience and most importantly a Devotion to both the job and to the folks that in the veterans community that these folks serve so I offer for your consideration and certainly happen to answer any questions you might have about her. Row we discussed a couple of things that I think are right on point with your question and one is the depth of involvement. The school Community has with our veterans and she was certainly very very excited and enthused to take part in that and she also remarked about some of our other programming not just like The Monuments she was quite frankly dazzled by but also some of the workout in the community like the food drives and things like that. So I think in addition to to supporting what we currently do, I expect that we're going to have some some new options as well to continue and kind of
