Seamus Kelley, Margaret Raymond Driscoll, Matt Hartman C Vote: CTE Policy Amendment Mr. Hartman reviewed the CTE Policy. Following feedback from DESE, the policy was amended with a sentence added clarifying that the hosting school will pay all costs associated with the school tours. A memo in this week's packet highlights the changes made. Therefore, a vote must be made on the amended policy. Seven in favor and none abstaining or, or against. So that moves forward. Our final piece on the table tonight, uh, is something we saw, I believe about six or eight weeks ago. Um, and it was a policy regarding our voc schools and how we introduced voc schools to our middle school students. A requirement, again, from DSI to have a policy in place. Um, it's my understanding that some information was returned. Um, we have Ms. Acevedo, if we need her to explain what the interaction was or if the superintendent wants to handle the comments back that we received. It looks pretty simple to me, but
▶ 21:32 Speaker 3: Yes. So, uh, again, I, there is a pretty, um, detailed memo in your packet. I think the only change that we made was under school tours. And I can highlight and it is highlighted, but, um, we added the sentence that the hosting school will pay all costs associated with these tours. Um, that was really important that the, that, um, the hosting school is the one who, who, um, helps to, uh, take on that cost. So that is the only addition, um, that was made after it was submitted, and we received feedback from desi. Um, so we are asking you to consider that feedback and, um, hope for approval.
