▶ 2:32:09 Jen Grigoraitis: Last but certainly not least the prize for those patient department head. We have grant 2023-1 department of justice Bureau of Justice assistance. Stop School violence program Grant we have health director Choi here tonight.

▶ 2:32:28 Speaker 1: Okay, honestly, thank you the city council for having me tonight very excited to announce that we were selected one of nine Awards by the doj for the Stop School violence prevention Grant. This is a million dollar Grant that's been awarded over three years. We wrote this grant in conjunction with the school district in town of Stoneham and town of Wakefield. We were able to cure this grant through our Public Health Specialists. Emily Hatchell who did a great job putting getting all the school administration together during a busy time. So this grant million dollars over three years allows us to fund three adjustment counselors one for each school district for three years fully funded and we also have fun left over to work on projects such as de-escalation training. We also have school school adjustment and other professional development opportunities for teachers and staff that work with students. We also have plenty of opportunities to work with policy makers on kind of Bridging the Gap of what we're teaching students and staff and helping to get the messaging into the community. There's no matching requirement for this grant. So the city is able to kind of further our substance use prevention efforts as well as work on work on projects around gun violence prevention education.
