▶ 0:54 Jen Grigoraitis: I will motion by unanimous consent to close public comment. Seeing no objection public comment is now closed. We have two matters before us tonight. The first is order 2023-41 acceptance of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection recycling dividend program Grant in the amount of 15,600 and I believe we have some guests who are joining us tonight. So while you're getting settled at the table, I'll entertain a motion to suspend the rules. We have emotions to suspend the rules made by counselor Stewart seconded by President. ▶ 1:30 Speaker 2: Thank you very much. I'm Jim troupe. I'm the deputy director of the DPW Administration and finance. Happy holidays to everybody thank you for letting us be here tonight and seeing this order. I've brought with me our environmental Outreach coordinator Alison buchler. It is her tremendous work. That is the reason that we're here tonight accepting this grant. I will turn it over to her and we'll be happy to answer any questions pretty much the memo that you have in front of you is explains exactly what we do on an annual basis and what this grant means to us.
▶ 2:06 Speaker 3: Good evening. My name is Allison bugler. I am the environmental Outreach coordinator. I Am brand new to this role. So forgive me if I share any misinformation, but we have been selected to receive around fifteen thousand dollars in RDP or recycling dividends program funds to help support our current operations with Recycling and trash and solid waste and also expand on more Recycling and solid waste practices within the city. So we have gained points for our Organics household hazardous waste charm Center and plenty more including textile recycling waste prevention and Outreach yard, waste drop off reuse programs. And those are you know, what we have gained points for and of course, there's room for opportunity to gain other points in other categories as well and we are looking to again expand and are very proud that we have received These funds. And are hoping to get the get the funds accepted.
