▶ 1:19:32 Leila Migliorelli: It's Grant 2023-2 acceptance of the fy23 earmark Grant awarded to the Melrose fire department by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of fire services in the amount of 60,000 tonight. We have Chief Kalina here to speak on this order.

▶ 1:19:57 Speaker 12: Yeah, so this fiscal year. 23 air Mark is a grant that issue through the department of fire service and services and where hope to use this funds to purchase 12 new SCBA air packs Which is a critical piece of equipment for our firefighters. A pack is about 6,500. For each pack the current packs that we have have aged out. They can't be service tested. and this is a portion of the money will be used for the 12 packs. We I'll be here shortly. and their future for an additional Grant funding opportunity. Hope to piece that together with a few dollars left over from an SCBA.
