▶ 3:41 Paul Brodeur: Go ahead Mary Broderick. Thank you madam, chair members of the committee. It is good to see you this evening. I am pleased to offer for your consideration the nomination of Elizabeth Reedy to replace Miss Mitten on the medical Commission on women. I do want to thank Emily for her service. She was an outstanding commissioner and while regrettably Ms. Reedy cannot be here with us this evening. I did have the Press of the pleasure of speaking with her to discuss this nomination and she was very impressive in her commitment to enter concern for both women and girls here in Melrose. She is an attorney quite an accomplished attorney by by training and she is very eager to put those skills to use on the commission. I do want to know that she has done extensive pro bono work and was recognized for that work as a recipient of the Wiley Branton award. That is by the what the Washington DC lawyers committee for civil rights in urban Affairs. So and you know in addition to the work that she will do for the commission. She is clearly professionally and personally demonstrated a commitment to to social change. I am convinced that you'll be an outstanding member and an outstanding advocate for women and girls in our community and I very much appreciate your consideration this evening. I wouldn't want to speak on her behalf. But certainly if you have any questions of me, I'm happy to answer them.
