▶ 1:49:28 Leila Migliorelli: That will be brought to the full counsel with recommendation for passage. Next is appropriation 2023 dash 44 in appropriation from free cash account zero one dash 3 2 401 in the amount of 66,500 to Public Works cemetery department 4 91.
▶ 1:49:45 Speaker 11: Thank you. Uh, The Department of Public Works has a tremendous relationship with the, uh, cemetery Commission. Uh, through the course of the year. They help us identify things that are of critical need at the cemetery that unfortunately are not affordable in our operating budget. Thus, this year we're in front of you requesting $66,500 for two specific projects or items. The first is a piece of equipment, a turf sweeper. Uh, the quote has been attached to the packet for your review. Uh, this is a critical piece of equipment that unfortunately right now, the one that is there is no longer of useful life. Uh, we do not outsource any landscaping or anything like that in the cemetery. This equipment helps our staff, uh, with the grass, with the cleaning, uh, and with, uh, a lot of the landscaping that needs to get done. This was an item that was specifically identified, uh, by the foreman in the cemetery and has the full support of the Cemetery Commission. And the second is a baseline tree replacement. Uh, there have been a number of trees that need to be replaced as well as other specific landscaping projects, and we feel that this additional monies would go a long way in satisfying the requests that have been made. Not only of the D P W but of the Cemetery Commission. We respectfully ask via consideration and for passage. Thank you
