Deputy Superintendent confirmed that they would once the city starts to receive that revenue, the city will transfer it over to the schools and distribute across the school committee categories. Interim Deputy Superintendent Kelley emphasized that while the school budget focuses on instruction and learning, significant additional resources supporting teaching and learning are invested by the city. These external supports were highlighted to demonstrate the city's substantial investment in the schools. ▶ 14:55 Jennifer McAndrew: I just have a process question. It's also related to our next item, um, and thank you for this. I think they both look very good at this point in the year. Um, I'm just, um, anticipating that if and when the School Committee votes the supplemental appropriation for school 26, that we would then see those amounts reflected here in the DESE- DESE categories. Is that correct?

There's quite a bit of information here in your packet, including the supplemental appropriation request across our line items, as well as general information about, um, all of the money that is going into the school district, both those within the control of the School Committee and those that fall under other aspects of, uh, the city, including, uh, some technology as well as, uh, DPW resources that are being, uh, put forward to us.
