ANNOUNCMENTS OF THE SUPERINTENDENT Chair Withey announced a preliminary vote on the Agenda under the Announcements of the Superintendent. Incoming School Committee members Melissa Holleran and Sheri Leo were invited to the horseshoe to participate in the voting. 1. Vote: 2026 Chair and Vice Chair Preliminary Vote Interim Superintendent Berman outlined the process for the preliminary vote on the School Committee's Chair and Vice Chair for the 2026 calendar year. So I just wanna say thank you to everyone that came before us during public comment tonight. We really do appreciate and value the time you share when you come and you tell us what's top of mind. Seeing that there are no other speakers this evening, I'll close public comment. Again, please know that while public comment is closed, you can always reach out to us via email with any questions, concerns, opinions, or ideas. With that, we'll move on to the next item in our agenda, which is the report of the student reps. Seeing that we don't have any student reps with us tonight, uh, we'll move to the next item here, which is the announcements of the superintendent. Before we begin, I just want to acknowledge there is one item underneath this particular agenda item, which is a vote for the 2026 chair and vice chair. We'll take a preliminary vote at this moment. Uh, we have two folks in the audience who are going to be coming onto the school committee.
