▶ 21:04 Mark Garipay: I. Opposed? That will be recommended. ID 2025-771 State 911 Training Grant. Melrose Police Department has been awarded $82,903.80 for 16 hours of dispatch-specific continuing education, as well as the training class fees for all certified dispatch personnel.
▶ 21:28 Speaker 2: Thank you. So 16 hours is required to keep your certification to work 911. We, uh, applied for... Well, we train everyone to work 911, 911. So the cost of that is $82,903.80, and that's based on, uh, the tuition for 16 hours, which is four clo- four four-hour classes. That's the cost of the, uh, company that we pay. And then the remainder is the cost of the overtime that will, we will incur for sending our officers to training. So they reimburse us for everything and there's no matching, uh, no matching money needed for anything.
