▶ 20:11 Christopher Cinella: Yeah. So I'm honored to, uh, bring this resolution honoring our outgoing city council President Jennifer Grigoraitis Gita. Whereas the city of Melrose has been fortunate to be led by this individual of outstanding character and unwavering commitment to the public. And whereas city council President Gita has exemplified these qualities throughout her two terms as Ward six counselor since her election in 2019, tirelessly advocating for these residents and contributing significantly to the betterment of our community. And whereas President Gita has proven herself to be dedicated and engaged member of our city government displaying exceptional leadership, vision, thoughtfulness, and strategic thinking in addressing the various challenges and opportunities facing our city. And whereas her notable achievements in tireless efforts have contributed to the improvement of city services, the enhancement of the community engagement and the overall enhan advancement of Melrose. And whereas President Gita is not only a distinguished public servant, but also a devoted mother with both of her sons enrolled in the Melrose Public Schools reflecting her personal investment in the future of our community. And whereas President Greg did not rest on these laurels, but has made history by becoming the first female elect mayor in the city of Melrose, breaking barriers and serving as an inspiration to the aspiring leaders, particularly women throughout the city. Now be it therefore further resolved by the Belrose City Council, that we express our deep gratitude and appreciation to the council President Jennifer Gita for her dedicated service, outstanding leadership and historic achievement as the first female elected mayor in our city's history. Be it further resolved that on this 18th day of December, 2023, we thank her husband, bill Sons, Graham and Reed for sharing her with the community. And that this resolution be presented to Jennifer Gita in recognition of her significant contributions and in celebration of her accomplishments as she stands ready to assume the role of Mayor of Melrose.
