▶ 9:23 Leila Migliorelli: It's a resolution in honor in recognition of Jack Eccles four years of service as city counselor at large. Whereas Jack Eckels has ably served the city of city council at large for four years. And whereas during his time on the city council, Jack Eccles served as the chair of Public Works and Health Education and Welfare Committees, vice Chair of Appropriations and Finance Committees and council representative to the Traffic Commission. And whereas Jack Eccles commitment to increasing affordable housing opportunities in Melrose led him to serve as a council representative to the Melrose Housing Production Plan Advisory Committee during his first term. And whereas Jack Eccles tireless dedication to the city of Melrose began as a high school intern in Mayor Dolan's administration. And whereas Jack Eccles is one of the youngest residents to be elected to the Melrose City Council. And whereas Jack Eccles dedication to civic engagement and deep belief in the democratic importance of elections is evident through his personal commitment to campaigning for candidates at the local, state and national level. And now therefore be it resolved that this resolution recognizing Jack Eckels for his years of honorable and distinguished service to the city of Melrose be spread across the records of the Melrose City Council on the 18th day of December, 2023.
