It answered some of my, some of my questions, but, uh, last week I did have a couple concerns with part-time positions, uh, resulting in full-time benefits, um, and where the benefits hit the city side of the budget. Um, I think, um, I believe that the city should have, um, some, some oversight. So in speaking with the, um, city administration and, and, um, the city solicitor, we, um, she helped me, um, come up with some language. I think that, um, achieves both what the, the schools are trying to accomplish and, um, some, uh, some oversight on the city side regarding regarding the benefits. So at this time, I'd like to, um, add the fall, amend the following, or add the following language to this, uh, to this order. Um, based on my discussions with the, uh, city solicitor and the, um, language would be, these designations shall be rescinded effective June 30th, 2025, absent an additional vote by the city council authorizing the further extension of the special municipal employee designation to these positions. Um, and that, uh, and that would allow them to come back in front of us in 18 months if these positions are still needed and we can vote at that time. So, um, that, that's my, uh, amendment to this order.
