Next up we have appropriation 2024 dash 39 and appropriation from ambulance retained earnings to the ambulance budget in the amount of $375,000. This amount will be used to cover overtime, costs, professional services, as well as any revenue shortfalls. And surprisingly, we have Ms. Golden here. Yes.

▶ 1:29:51 Speaker 4: Yes. So, um, again, I'm here to speak on behalf of this order. So, um, at the end of May, we kind of looked at where our ambulance was and how it was performing. Um, and as you are, I think you're all aware that there were some staffing challenges. So we had to, um, fill those, uh, vacancies with over time, causing, um, you know, what we hope is a one-time blip, um, with cost. So, um, we're looking to appropriate the retained earnings, which is the equivalent of free cash, but, um, it's called retained earnings for enterprise funds. Um, so it, 350,000 of it would cover overtime cost. Um, and that was just a projection, um, at the end of May and 25,000 would go, uh, to professional services. Okay. And so when, if this order is approved, the balance in ambulance retained earnings would be $104,000. 901 0 4 9 7 3.

And, and, uh, I don't recall, do you recall, um, how much we had put into that retained earnings this past fiscal year?

▶ 1:31:44 Speaker 4: So we haven't done, um, an appropriation. So there's retained earnings and then there's reserve for retained earnings. So we haven't, um, put any funding into the reserve for retained earnings in a number of years. Um, it, it kind of meets the 10% thresholds, uh, that we look for.
