▶ 16:39 Robb Stewart: Thank you Madam President. Madam President through the chair. I just want a little clarity on this. Um, when we have, um, subject to the confirmation at the request of any committee member, um, how's that done? I mean, is it basically we, we get the, uh, the notification on I QM two or whatnot, and then we ask you or we send a note to the city clerk? I'm just curious in terms of the process. Was that clarified? Because I, I, I didn't, I wasn't part of this discussion.

▶ 17:16 Mark Garipay: Councilor Garing Through the chair as a maker of the amendment, um, any, any counselor can make a recommendation to a committee member to request them to come before that committee if they have a question. And it would be at the, uh, approval of the chair, like we do any, any time we're in committee and we want to see there's an order in front of us, we usually go to the chair of that committee in order to get someone from the administration or whatever to come before us. So that was a thought process with that.

So through the chair, uh, would it be then, um, if we had a reconfirmation we're in, uh, Barr and commissions and then I say, I'd like to actually have this person come before us. We hold it in committee and then make the request to the chair and the chair can approve or deny that. Is that how that works?

▶ 18:08 Mark Garipay: Well, through the, uh, through a committee member. A committee member of the Barr and commissions.

▶ 18:16 Kimberly Vandiver: If I may. So as the chair of Barr and Commissions. So, and, and it looks like coun, uh, through the chair of Councilor Stewart is, is a member of that board. So, so in that scenario, um, I believe Councilor Stewart would come to me and I would make the request to the administration as the chair Barr and commission.

▶ 18:32 Robb Stewart: Okay. So, but we don't need to a priori, um, have the person come before us. It would be only at the pleasure of somebody on the, the, the committee to make that request.
