This is the meeting of the Melrose City Council, and I am President Melia, calling it to order in accordance with Massachusetts Open Meeting Law. This meeting is being broadcast and recorded by Melrose Cable Access tv, and will be available for viewing in its entirety on MMTV and through the city website link. Pursuant to current allowances. Under the open meeting, law enacted under chapter two of the Acts of 2023, signed into law by Governor Healy on March 29th, 2023, city Councilors, Firo, and Hamilton are joining, um, tonight's meeting remotely via the city's Zoom platform. Because these counselors are remote, all votes shall be taken by roll call. Please remember to speak clearly into the microphone so that all are able to hear.
