▶ 21:33 Speaker 5: Great. Okay. Well, um, thank you. First, let me just thank you all for your, your feedback, um, school committee, um, and for the support, um, not only from you but for also for all of the stakeholders as I have taken on this role, um, as interim superintendent. Um, it is my pleasure, um, certainly to serve the community and I, I am looking forward to the next half a year. Um, does make it a little easier with, uh, you know, uh, an override and some real positives going into the year. We are gonna have some challenges as well, which we know, um, but, but hopefully we have really great people, really great team, really great community, um, who certainly has demonstrated that they're behind, uh, the schools and the city, um, to do their best. So thank you. Um, and then the, my real stuff, I guess, um, the, you have a personnel report, um, it is in packet and updated, happy to review any of the open positions. I do have a list here. I will not read them to you unless you would really, anyone would really like to hear them. Um, just as a reminder, those were all positions. I like to say every single meeting that were in our approved budget from the spring, um, other than the two reading specialist positions that we put in, when we get got that additional chapter 70 funding, um, we have been working on hiring those two people. I believe that we have secured one. Um, we are, we are hoping, we are currently, uh, working on getting that person, um, signed, sealed, and delivered to hopefully come on board, um, within the next few weeks. So that is exciting that we have gotten someone for that position. So happy to answer any questions.
▶ 23:19 Speaker 3: I'll ask one just 'cause So, you know, I think it's important for us to, um, anticipate this wonderful opportunity, but also be realistic about the best times of the year to hire people. So what are you seeing in terms of hiring in general right now is like, it's not the best time of year to hire educators, right? Teachers and reading specialists?
▶ 23:41 Speaker 5: No, no. I mean, um, there's a time for hiring educators, right? It's usually probably April, March, April. Um, we have some graduates, people who are newly licensed people who may be looking to make changes for their following school year. Um, so certainly that is it. We also know that there's a huge decrease in the amount of, of people who want to be educators. Mm-hmm. Um, who are going through, um, programs, teacher licensure programs. So, um, I know those numbers were discussed over the last couple years about the decrease that we actually see of, of people who want to do this work and who want to serve. Um, so that makes it hard just in itself. Mm-hmm. Um, but, but certainly this is not, and it's hard, right? We, we see, especially with these specialized positions, we often see it with our paraprofessionals, our special education staff, um, our related service providers. So like occupational therapists, um, speech and language pathologists, they, they're hard to get just in general.
▶ 24:35 Speaker 3: And then they can also compare, you know, if they're getting interviewed by multiple districts, they can compare the salaries. Mm-hmm. Right? So that's why, another reason why we need to be competitive. Okay. Thank you.
