▶ 2:53:01 Mark Garipay: I gotta, I wanna go home, I guess. Huh? 1 2 6 4 9 An appropriation for free cash accounts 0 1 3 2 4 0 0 1 in the amount of 20,000 for to the Melrose Cultural Council.
▶ 2:53:15 Speaker 4: Sure. So this, um, replaces or replicates last year's free cash that this body approved, um, for $20,000 that went to the Melrose Messina Fund for the Arts. Um, which, um, during the last, uh, fiscal year, the Messina Fund for the Arts has been, um, we've done away with and moved fully into the Melrose Cultural Council. For those of you prior to being on the council in the last few years, the Messina Fund was a line item in the planning department for about 10 or 15 years, I think. Um, mayor Dolan started it and last year we moved it off the operating budget for the various re reasons we've all been talking about this evening. So this is to fund the, um, to give money to the Cultural Council for Grants for Arts and Culture.
