▶ 15:42 Jeff McNaught: thank you mr president uh at this time i'd like to move for immediate consideration of resolution 2021-6 a resolution honoring christopher c sinella president of the morrow city council 2021 um so motion for media consideration uh does anybody object

▶ 16:14 Jeff McNaught: Thank you, Mr. President. I'll now read the resolution. Whereas Christopher C. Sinella has served as President of the Melrose City Council for the year 2021, and whereas the City Council congratulates President Sinella for completing his first term as a counselor at large for the City of Melrose and appreciates his commitment to serving moros and whereas the city council recognizes that president sanella's dedication to our community extends well beyond his efforts in this chamber and whereas that president sanella led the second year of the city council which included nine new members elected in 2020 and provided guidance acumen and respect to all members of the city council and whereas that President Cinella oversaw the council during unprecedented times in which a global pandemic impacted all aspects of life across our nation, our state, and our city, and primarily conducted the affairs of this council in an uncharted remote environment. And whereas that President Cinella has demonstrated his dedication to the Maros community as a longtime business owner on Main Street, as a longtime member and past president of the Melrose Chamber of Commerce, as a longtime member and past president of the Melrose Rotary Club, as a lifelong member of the Melrose community and product of the Melrose Public Schools, and as a city councilor following in the footsteps of his late father, John T. Sinella, Jr., Esquire, former city solicitor, and his late uncle, Edward Sinella, both longtime residents of Melrose and serving as council members and past presidents of this very body and in many other roles in the Melrose community. and whereas that President Cinella wife Margaret, children CJ and Jacob are also part of the Melrose community and will always have a home here, and whereas that we the members of the Melrose City Council do hereby express our sincere appreciation to President Cinella for his able administration of the Office of President and for his efforts on behalf of the City of Melrose in recognition thereof direct that the gavel wielded by him be suitably inscribed and presented to him on this sixth day of december the year 2021 um i believe let's open up the secret

Thank you, Mr. President. That concludes the resolution and thank you again for your service and for your family's decades and decades service to the City of Melrose.
