▶ 18:16 Christopher Cinella: And on the heels of saying the Pledge of Allegiance. I just wanted to comment on really what this flag right here represents and what it does not. As we learned earlier in committee, one of our colleagues had suffered some racist comments over the weekend right here at the Shell gas station with her family in the car. And she was told to go back to her own country. This type of racist hatred is not what this flag or this city represents. And I have some news for the person who made these comments. She is in her own country. In Council jamaladi in this country in the city is better off for it. This community condemns this type of racist behavior and whether you're passing through our city or you reside here, it's unacceptable. And it's not welcome here. So, thank you.

There is many I chose to speak but there is many that are suffering in silence and that's why you haven't heard about him. My family and I are still processing what happened to the person who attacked us. I wish you hurt me and know why I was looking at you. I thought your car was rolling back and no one was controlling it. So I was trying to help you also know that your islamophobic and racism caused my little one trauma and for that I will not forgive you. I also wanted to thank Chief Fowler the officers and detectives who were very professional and supportive to us. So, thank you everyone.
