Motion to Move to the end of agenda made by Councilor Vandiver Seconded by Councilor Karamcheti All were in favor and item was moved Vote and discussion on this item occurred at the end of the meeting: Motion to Recommend made by Councilor Finocchiaro Seconded by Councilor Karamcheti All were in favor and motion passed President Freeman spoke on behalf of City Clerk Tanji Cifuni about the transfer request, which is an order transferring money from one line of the city clerk's budget to another to account for the cost of printing two ballots during the previous election. They were more expensive than anticipated due to Early vote and actual in person vote ballot printing, as well as $10,000 to print and mail out confirmation cards for the census for those citizens who have not returned their census yet. There is money in the budget because of savings generated by using senior workers and volunteers during the election, so there is no additional cost to the city.
